DR SARAH MCINTYRE

WHAT IS YOUR MANTRA?

My mantra is attitude, application, patience and perseverance over time; results in performance and rewards.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE FIGHTER/SPORTSPERSON AND WHY?

My favourites are Thierry Henry, Floyd Mayweather and Roger Federer. All three of these athletes have dominated their chosen sports through technical ability and physical condition, backed up by stats and achievements. For me, they are three examples of what can be achieved through a combination of physical and psychological ability.

BIO

Dr Sarah is an experienced Mind-Set Coach, who specialises in getting individuals to perform at their best. She started her career as both a student and lecturer at Cambridge University, before working as a consultant in different industries from corporate recruitment to education.  Having spent nearly ten years researching what really ‘makes us tick’ as human beings,  Sarah has a highly nuanced understanding of the human psyche. At the core of her approach is the belief that there is a 50:50, equal relationship between Mind and Body. The body can only optimise its full strength and function if the mind is focused and clear of ‘white noise’, including self-doubt, false beliefs and nagging insecurities. Similarly, the mind can only think at its best when nourished by a healthy body.

In guided one-to-one structured or alternatively free-flowing sessions, Sarah works with individuals to optimise their sense of self and in turn, enables them to bring about an increase in their confidence, resilience and overall success. Through highly attuned questioning and observation, Sarah works to understand the whole person, not only from their everyday lived experience, but also from their overarching projects, desires, and goals.
